Value of Latvia's export goods increased by 25% in 2011; value if imported goods by 21.9%

Print versionThe value of Latvia's export goods increased by 25% in 2011, whilst the value of important goods increased by 21.9%, according to information from the State Revenue Service.

According to customs declarations in 2011, the total value of Latvia's export goods was LVL 1.71 billion, which is by LVL 341.8 million more than 2010. On the other hand, the value of imported goods reached LVL 1.81 billion last year, which was LVL 325.3 million more when compared to 2010, writes LETA.
When taking into account the total value of goods exported in 2011, Latvia's main export partners were Russia, Norway and Belarus.
On the other hand, when taking into account the total value of imported goods last year, Latvia's main import partners were Russia, Belarus and China.
