Drones to be manufactured in Latvian Jelgava

Local Latvian company UAVFactory has started the manufacturing of unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, in the city of Jelgava (central Latvia), the newspaper Dienas Bizness reports today.

As the newspaper was informed by the director of the company Konstantins Popiks, the drones manufactured in Jelgava are delivered to clients in the United States, Canada and Australia, informs LETA.

 

''Our company manufactures one product, but with many different additional options – various types of motors, gas tanks and other components,'' Popiks explains.

 

''These components change depending on the desires of the client,'' Popiks added, pointing out that there are many different used for drones.

 

The company employs 15 persons, however, is continually expanding.
