Kidy Tour eyes 30% of Lithuanian tourism market
"In light of the current situation, Kidy Tour, in cooperation with the group's air companies, is taking steps to become a significant player in the leisure charter travel market", told Kidy Tour CEO Gvidas Aukstuolis
"Since flight costs make up 50% of the total cost of travel packages, partnership with the group's air carriers will allow the tour operator to offer the lowest prices. In cooperation with Itaka Lietuva, we will expand the geographic coverage of flights, thus ensuring maximum occupancy rates and use of aircraft," he said.
Kidy Tour, which is present in the Central and Eastern European region, sells its travel packages through over 400 travel agencies.
The company forecasts that the tourism market will plunge by 45-50% in 2021.
