Estonian logistics company Transocean Eesti OU has entered into a representation agreement with Japanese container transport company Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. (ONE) for representing the latter in the Baltic countries, informs LETA/BNS.

"We are glad that this kind of Japanese company entered into a contract with us. Our strength is that we have cooperate with Japanese shipping companies for over 20 years already. We have previously represented the shipping company NYK Line. The signing of ONE's representation agreement is an excellent example of the strength of long-term cooperation that Japanese companies highly value," Margus Rool, member of the management board of Transocean Eesti, said in a press release.

Last summer, three global Japanese container transport companies NYK Line, K-Line and MOL merged into ONE joint company ONE, headquartered in Singapore. ONE launched operations in April 2018 and is the sixth largest container transport provider in the world.

Transocean Eesti OU is a logistics company operating in Estonia, is a part of the shipping group Baltic Maritime Logistics (BMLG) and is not to be confused with the international drilling platform operator company Transocean Ltd.
