BC, Tallinn, 30.11.2017.Print version
Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas on November 29th signed a goodwill agreement with his Mauritian colleague Pravind Jugnauth to found a regional e-governance training module in Mauritius, reports LETA/BNS.
According to Ratas, digitization opens doors to new opportunities, saves a
lot of time and money, and helps citizens, enterprises and the state to
communicate more easily. Therefore he is glad that Mauritius has decided to
digitize the state and the cooperation between the two countries can continue
on a new level in the future, spokespeople for the government said.
In addition, prime ministers discussed issues related to peace and security
as well as environmental and climate change issues, which are the two
countries' common interests.
On Wednesday Ratas took part in the EU-African Union summit at the capital city of Ivory Coast, Abidjan.
