Kinze setting up electronic product development center in Vilnius

Print versionUS agricultural machinery manufacturer Kinze, which has been present in Lithuania for more than four years now, is expanding its operations in the country by establishing an electronic product development center in Vilnius, informs LETA/BNS.

The new center is expected to employ about 25 highly qualified electronics professionals and program system engineers over the next three years, Invest Lithuania, the government's foreign investment promotion agency, said in a press release on Tuesday.
"We have decided that Lithuania is the perfect location for the development expansion of the company's most innovative products," it quoted Kinze Executive Director Brian McKown as saying.
The new center in Vilnius will develop electronic controllers and software for mechanical equipment.
Kinze Manufacturing currently employs a total workforce of over 400 people. It has units in the US and Lithuania.
