Latitude59 tech conference to take place as hybrid event in Tallinn

BC, Tallinn, 21.05.2020.Print version
Estonia's flagship startup and tech gathering Latitude59 in 2020 will be taking place both at the Tallinn Creative Hub (Kultuurikatel) as well as online, informs LETA/BNS.

In line with the government's decision to ease restrictions on the organization of public events, Latitude59 will be taking place on August 27 and 28 as a limited conference and networking event at the Tallinn Creative Hub but can also be attended online. The Latitude59 management team will adjust the event program and production according to special conditions to ensure the safety of the participants at the Tallinn Creative Hub and to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

"Like many others this year, Latitude59 will be different -- entrepreneurs and investors from almost 60 countries cannot be received in Tallinn this year, but this is a great opportunity to test new approaches to event management. We will focus more strongly on involving the startup communities of our immediate neighbors, bringing startups and investors together, and offer participants plenty of inspiration as usual," Maarja Pehk, head of Latitude59, said.

The event will also include the traditional pitch competition for startups, discussions with world-class visionaries both on stage and online, and, as an innovation, a mentoring program developed especially for startups.

Constantly updated information about both the program and ticket sales can be found on the Latitude59 website.
