All operators of heavy machinery from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have been invited for participation. This will be an opportunity not only to compete, but also to meet the industry specialists from the Baltic states and share experience.

"With this challenge we wanted to break the stereotypical image of tractor driver and show that a machinery operator is a serious profession requiring both knowledge and qualification, and talent," said Janis Viksna, Regional Manager of Avesco in Latvia and organizer of the Baltic Operator Challenge.

This event will take place at the level of the Baltic States for the first time. For three days, operators will individually perform three tasks using various Caterpillar® machines. The participants of the challenge and representatives of their company will also have an opportunity to participate in educational seminars where they could find out about the newest Trimble 3D GPS levelling system for excavators, news on construction machinery and advantages of Cat Rebuild certified repair.
