MTG TV Latvia director Baiba Zuzena points out that Despite the stunted growth of the advertising market and the damages predicted for several of our companies due to the investments, we consider last year to be a success. TV3 and LNT remain the most watched channels in Latvia. Our locally made shows top the ratings. The 100 000 downloads of the TV Play app this month indicate that our investments in new digital projects and platforms have been successful.
However, the company plans to continue developing and will invest 30% more this year in development than last year.
MTG has operated in Latvian since 1998, and currently operates six television channels (TV3, LNT, TV5, 3+, TV6 and Channel 2), as well as the Star FM radio station.
