The public can get familiar with an environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal.

The report finds the best location for the terminal to be the Island of Kiaules Nugara (Pig's Hump), the Curonian Spit, reports LETA/ELTA.

The presentation of the report means that the final conceptual phase of the project has been reached.

Director of the Klaipedos Nafta LNG terminal Rolandas Zukas said that the EIA report's contents and extent is composed in three stages: preparing a report, introducing it to the public and receiving a final decision.

Around twenty scientists and experts in various areas were teamed up to carry out the EIA report.
