Juhan Tere, BC, Tallinn, 13.11.2009.Print version
On November 12, the world record for the fastest-founded company via Internet was posted with the help of the e-Business Registry entrepreneur portal created by the Estonian Justice Ministry registries and information systems centre (RISC), Postimees Online/LETA reports.

Justice Ministry said that businessman Raivo Keskra founded yesterday during the InnoEstonia 2009 conference under the eyes of viewers Hankeabi OÜ, and the whole registration process of it from start to finish took 18:03.05 minutes.

RISC director Ando Rehemaa said that the aim of posting the world record was to show that in Estonia, founding a company has been made very simple for entrepreneurs with the help of the world’s fastest e-solutions.

The world record called “the fastest via Internet portal founded limited liability company” will be registered in Universal Records Database.

Commantary specially for BC

I wish to put on record that Anguilla, which is a British overseas territory in the Caribbean Sea, has had an online registry since the launch of their ACORN system back in 1998. The ACORN system allows for incorporations of LLC’s IBC’s LP’ & Anguilla Business companies within 3 minutes from start to receiving confirmation and a copy of your certificate of incorporation.
