BC, Vilnius, 24.07.2017.Print version
Experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have recommended that Lithuania should continue with its structural reforms to achieve process, with a focus on fundamental restructuring of the education sector, informs LETA/BNS.
The experts said the human capital was the main driver behind productivity
of modern economy.
According to the IMF conclusions, Lithuania's economy driven by private
consumption is successfully recovering from the sluggish 2015-2016 period and
should keep the fast pace of development in the short run.
The reforms should also help realize the objective of Lithuania's ruling
parties to bridge income inequality, at the same time preserving macroeconomic
and financial stability, IMF said in the recommendations.
