Estonian School of Hotel and Tourism Management declared bankrupt

BC, Tallinn, 22.06.2016.Print version
The Estonian School of Hotel and Tourism Management (EHTE), a private school providing applied higher education in Tallinn, has been declared bankrupt, informs LETA/BNS.

The court appointed trustee in the EHTE bankruptcy, Kalle Motsnik, told BNS that the school's debt to the lessor amounts to approximately 50,000 euros. The creditors' meeting is scheduled for June 29.

The manager of EHTE, Toomas Undusk, in his remarks to the media in 2015 attributed the school's financial difficulties to low attendance and a big number of students in arrears with their tuition payments.

Established in 1996, EHTE offered training in the professions of hospitality, catering and tourism service.
