As reported, to and from the Ice Hockey World Championship this weekend, the ferry was at maximum capacity, with 90% of passengers Latvian hockey fans.
The security company told LETA that on the way to Stockholm, two rowdy fans were placed in the ferry's detention cell, but 10 on the way back.
A LETA reporter on board observed a fistfight between three fans and three security guards.
At the championship Saturday, Latvia played a dismal game against Norway, leaving the team a slim outside chance of making it to the quarterfinals.
