BC, Vilnius, 10.11.2014.Print version
Commenting on the September's forecast by the Bank of Lithuania where the economic growth of the country was reduced, Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius said that the economic situation has been deteriorating not only in Lithuania but also in many other member-states of the European Union, cites LETA/ELTA.

"Consumption in Germany in October went down to probably its lowest since 2007 () as far as I am aware of, nearly all member-states had to correct their GDP this year. Finland will probably will end this year with a negative GDP growth," said the Lithuanian prime minister and added that the next year's budget was planned taking into account the latest forecasts of the Bank of Lithuania.

As reported, in September, the Bank of Lithuania cut down the GDP growth forecast for 2014 from 3.3% to 2.9% and from 3.6% to 3.3% for 2015.
