The most popular social network in Latvia, "Draugiem.lv" has dropped out of the top 3 of the most visited websites in Latvia, according to a report published by "Gemius Latvija", informs NOZARE.LV/LETA.

"Draugiem.lv" has now dropped to the fourth position. The news web site "Tvnet" is now ranked third following a recent merger with the news website "Apollo" and changing its web address to "apollo.tvnet.lv".

E-mail site "Inbox.lv" remains in first position, and news website "Delfi" is second. The combined result of "Tvnet" and "Apollo" has brought it close to its competitors in second position, although the merger has increased the number of "Tvnet" visitors only 11.7 percent.

The rating is based on the activity of internet users aged from 15 to 75 who visit the web sites within the territory of Latvia from a computer. The rating includes those websites which were analyzed in the "gemiusAudience" research this past May.
