Print versionStatistics Lithuania informs that in 2013, 38.8 thousand residents emigrated from Lithuania, reports LETA/ELTA.

Against 2012, the number of emigrants decreased by 2.3 thousand (5.6%).
In 2013, 22 thousand persons immigrated to Lithuania, of whom the majority (86.2%) – returning (remigrating) Lithuanian nationals, 13.8% – foreigners.
Against 2012, the number of immigrants increased by 2.2 thousand (returning (remigrating) Lithuanian nationals – 1.6 thousand, foreigners – 550).
