Housing prices in Lithuania decreased by 1.8% in Q3

In the third quarter of 2013, as compared to the previous quarter, the housing prices have decreased by 1.8%, reports LETA/ELTA.

According to the data presented by the Statistics Lithuania, the prices for the newly built buildings decreased the most. The prices of newly constructed apartments in one or two apartment housing went down by 3.4%, while in block apartments by 2.5%.

 

The prices for the apartments in the older buildings in one or two apartment housing decreased by 4.7%, while in block apartments by 0.4%.

In the third quarter of 2013 against the same period of 2012, the housing prices decreased by 0.4%. The prices for newly constructed apartments have decreased by 10.7%, for one or two apartment housing – by 2.1%. The prices for the apartments in the older buildings have increased by 2%, while the prices for one or two apartment housing have decreased by 0.7%.
