The number of Finns living in Estonia on the increase in 2013

Print versionWhile the number of Estonians living in Finland is growing constantly, the amount of Finns moving to Estonia is also on the increase, LETA/Õhtuleht online reports.

While a year ago, 4,812 Finns noted Estonia as their official place of residence, according to the latest data of the Estonian interior ministry, 5,584 Finnish citizens are living in Estonia already now, the Finnish Embassy homepage states.
2,883 Finns have registered as residents of Tallinn, 713 live in Tartu, 339 in Pärnu and 286 in the Saaremaa county.
At the end of 2012, according to the Finnish population registry data, 39,585 Estonian citizens lived permanently in Finland.
