Lithuania's housing prices grew by 1.5% in Q2

In Q2 of 2013, compared with Q1, the price of housing in Lithuania increased by 1.5%, informs LETA/ELTA.

According to the Department of Statistics, prices of existing apartments increased the most: price of apartments in blocks of flats increased by 3%, whereas prices of flats in one or two apartment housing increased by 0.9%.

 

Prices of newly constructed apartments in one or two apartment housing went down by 4.7%, while in block apartments by 0.8%.

 

In Q2 of 2013 against Q2 of 2012, housing price increased by 2.4%. Price of newly constructed housing increased the most.

 

Prices of newly constructed apartments in blocks of flats increased by 4.5%, whereas in one or two apartment housing by 7.7%.

 

Price of existing housing increased by 2.2%, whereof apartments in block of flats fell by 0.1% and apartments in one or two housing rose by 9.8%.
