In an evaluation of foreign exchange banks in 82 countries and regions, the magazine asked representatives from different sectors of the financial services industry to choose the best banks. The key criteria included transaction volumes, market shares, global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing, and use of innovative technology, informs ELTA.

"To be repeatedly selected as Norway's best FX bank is a recognition of the bank's expertise in a field that is important to both our customers and to DnB NOR," says Ertzeid.

The award winners are featured now in the January 2009 issue of Global Finance, and the award will be presented in Istanbul in connection with the annual meeting of the IMF and the World Bank next year. Deutsche Bank was named best global bank.
