“To be chosen from among such a solid group of finalists is great honour and recognition for years of work,” said the Jaan Puusaag. He noted that Krimelte started from a small mediation enterprise which has by now grown into a group of 13 subsidiaries that employ a total of nearly 300 persons.

Krimelte has production enterprises in Denmark, Lithuania and Russia besides the facilities in Estonia and it has sales enterprises in a number of countries,” said Puusaag, added that this all has been the outcome of years of work that has been achieved due to a very good team working in the enterprise.

Hanno Lindpere, partner in charge of Ernst & Young Baltic AS, stated that the EOY contest that took place for the first time in Estonia could be considered a success.

“The five finalists that were selected on the basis of interviews were all at the top of their business and strong personalities, hence it was very difficult for the jury to make the decision,” he said. According to Lindpere, the contest will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and exports in Estonia and will hence support Estonia’s economic growth.
