Latvian Finance Ministry increases GPD growth forecast for 2012 to 4%

Print versionThe Finance Ministry has increased this year's GDP growth forecast for Latvia to 4%, the ministry informs.

The ministry's growth forecast for 2013 remains at 3.7%, while growth in 2014-2015 is predicted at 4%, writes LETA.
The ministry's previous GDP growth forecast for Latvia this year was 2%.
In calculating the new GDP growth forecast, the Finance Ministry consulted with local experts from the Economy Ministry and the Bank of Latvia, as well as with experts from the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission.
