Lithuanian customers are the happiest with their insurance this year, followed by Latvian and Estonian consumers

Same time, the evaluations of Latvian inhabitants almost did not change this year in comparison to results of 2010. Thus, Lithuanian customers are the happiest with their insurance this year, followed by Latvian and Estonian consumers, reported BC EPSI Baltic press service.
Estonia
The
results for individual companies in Estonia also follow the negative trend. The
biggest drop in satisfaction scores experiences IF (-8.4 points), also Swedbank
customers became less happy (-6.9), while the change for ERGO is the smallest (- 1.2).
With these changes, the best evaluations this year are for the group of “other” (73.8) smaller insurance companies and for ERGO (73.1), while Swedbank (68.5) and IF (67.4) are behind.
Latvia
On
the company level, the changes in Latvia are different. The customers of Balta (+1.2) and BTA (+3.3) became more satisfied with their insurance companies
this year in comparison with 2010. Same time, the customers of other insurers
became less happy (-1.8).
This way, BTA is leading this year with the evaluation 77 point out of 100, group of “other” insurers is on the second place (75), but Balta is only third with 73.7 points.
Lithuania
In Lithuania, the evaluations for all individual companies decreased this year in comparison to previous. The biggest drop experiences the group of “other” (-7.5) smaller insurers, Lietuvos Draudimas (-6.1 points) and BTA (-5.3). The changes for ERGO (-2.3) and PZU (-2.9) are not that significant.
All in all, ERGO is leading this year with 80.5 points out of 100, PZU (77.2) is on the second place and Lietuvos Draudimas (76.6) is third. BTA (75.6) and the group of other (73.7) insurers are at the bottom of the list.
EPSI Rating – Nordic and Baltic Insurance trends 2011
The Insurance sector has been measured in the majority of Nordic countries since year 1999 in annual studies. The coverage has successively been increased and in 2007 General Insurance with both final Consumers and Corporate Customers are covered in the majority of the Nordic markets. In 2008 the assessment has also been added with the Baltic countries (for final consumer general insurance).
