Even though some experts, including some in the United States, were puzzled by Estonia's decision, when the euro-zone was going through some troubles, there are many indicators and benefits that show that we made the right decision, Ansip said.

The Estonian prime minister explained that it was important for his country to become a euro-zone members, because despite the good economic indicators, Scandinavian investors did not trust the previous currency, as they still remember the devaluation of the Finland's currency in the 1990's, writes LETA.

Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis also agreed that Estonia has been an excellent example to Latvia and Lithuania in joining the euro-zone.
