Grybauskaite and Hui Liangyu discuss bilateral cooperation of Lithuania and China

As the Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite said at the meeting with Hui Liangyu, the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, on Monday, by the opening of its market to the countries of the European Union China will also ensure conditions for Lithuania to increase its exports to this Eastern Asian country, writes LETA.

During the meeting, the President Grybauskaite and China's Vice Premier Huy Liangyu discussed possibilities and prospects of bilateral cooperation.

 

According to the head of state, Lithuania aims at deepening economic cooperation with China and intends to participate in the international exhibition EXPO-2010 in Shanghai next year.

 

Grybauskaite spoke highly of China's decision to attend the meeting of the Asian-European transport ministers in Vilnius on October 19-20 and thanked China's leaders for cooperation in holding this event.

 

According to the presidential press service, Lithuania's president also welcomed China's intention to take part in the United Nations' summit on climate change in Copenhagen on December 7-18.
