Print versionThe Bank of Latvia's external reserves reached USD 6.517 billion at the end of April, as reported the central bank of Latvia.
At end-March 2008, external reserves stood at USD 6.534 billion, informs LETA.
The bulk of the Bank of Latvia's external reserves, or USD 6.295 billion, was made up by foreign convertible currencies.
The bank's external reserves in gold were USD 221.8 million at end-April.
Special drawing rights totaled USD 180,000, but the reserve position at the International Monetary Fund stood at USD 90,000.
