Estonia's industrial production up on year in July, but monthly down

Industrial production in Estonia in July 2017 fell 3.1% compared to June 2017, while industrial production rose 4.7% compared to July 2016. Industrial production in the eurozone rose 0.1% in July compared to the previous month, while it fell 0.3% in the European Union, it can be seen from data published by Eurostat, cites LETA/BNS.

Industrial production in July increased 3.2% on year in the eurozone and 3.1% in the European Union.


Industrial production increased the most on year in Slovakia by 9.2%, in Latvia by 8.9% and in Romania by 7.6%. Of the countries with the biggest decrease recorded, Ireland was in the lead with a decrease of 9.2% on year, Denmark with 3.1% and Malta with 1.7%.


Compared to June 2017, industrial production grew the most in Portugal, by 1.9%, followed by Ireland with 1.8% and France with 0.6%. The biggest decrease, 9.8%, was recorded in the Czech Republic, followed by Hungary with 4.1% and Malta and Slovakia both with 3.3%.
