Turnover of retail trade in Lithuania decreased by 0.1% in May

Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in May 2016, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises amounted to EUR 793.4 million at current prices; against April 2016, seasonally and calendar adjusted, it decreased by 0.1% at constant prices (seasonally and calendar unadjusted – increased by 5.1%).

Over the month, the turnover of enterprises trading in food products decreased, at constant prices, by 0.3, of those engaged in trading in non-food products – 2.1%, while of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels – increased by 4.1%.

 

In May 2016, against May 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises, calendar adjusted, increased by 5.2% at constant prices (calendar unadjusted – 6.7%).

 

The turnover of enterprises trading in food products, calendar adjusted, increased by 0.3, of those engaged in retail trade in non-food products – 2.3, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels – 20.9% at constant prices.
