Real wages grew by 5.8% in Lithuania in 2015

Real wages in Lithuania rose by 5.8% in 2015 as compared to 2014, Statistics Lithuania said on January 29th citing preliminary data, informs LETA/BNS.

Average gross monthly wages, including sole proprietorships, increased by 5.1%, or 35 euros, to 712 euros, and average net monthly wages rose by 4.8%, or 25 euros, to 553 euros, the statistics office said.

 

Gross wages in the private sector rose by 6%, or 39 euros, to 694 euros. In the public sector, gross wages increased by 3.8%, or 27 euros, to 748 euros.
