Lithuania's annual deflation in November among highest in EU

Lithuania's EU-harmonized annual deflation rate in November 2015, at 0.5%, was among the highest in the European Union, figures from Eurostat showed on December 16th, cites LETA/BNS.
Higher deflation rates were recorded in Cyprus, at 1.5%, and Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia, at 0.9% each.
Consumer prices in Latvia held steady and Estonia registered a 0.5% annual inflation rate.
Negative annual inflation rates last month were observed in 13 member states.
Annual inflation stood at 0.2% in the euro area and at 0.1% in the whole EU.
