Lithuania posts EU's 3rd biggest decline in Q3 construction

Print versionLithuania in the third quarter of 2015 registered some of the biggest declines in construction output in the European Union, figures from the EU statistical office Eurostat showed on November 18th.

Production in the construction sector in Lithuania fell by 4% in the third quarter from a year ago, the third-highest rate of decline after Slovenia's 13.5% and France's 4.5%, writes LETA/BNS.
Based on the available data, production in construction in the whole of the EU edged down by 0.4%. Latvia recorded a 4.9% increase.
Data for ten member states, including Estonia, are not available in the report.
