Estonia's unemployment rate falls to 4% in August

The number of registered jobless decreased in August 2015 in Estonia and the number of jobless reached 25,409 people at the end of the month, which formed 4.0% of the working-age population, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.
In July, the jobless rate was 4.3% of the working-age population.
Joblessness was highest in August this year in Ida-Virumaa (8.3%) and Valgamaa (7.4%) and lowest in Tartumaa (3.1) and Harjumaa (3.0%).
Unemployment insurance compensation, which amounted to an average of 398 euros a month was paid in August to 31% of the jobless and jobless benefits amounting to around 124 euros a month were paid to 25% of the jobless.
