In August 2015, annual inflation may be negative and stand at minus 0.4%. Whereas average annual inflation is expected to be negative as well, standing at minus 0.4%. In July 2015, annual inflation was negative, at minus 0.2%, while average annual inflation was at minus 0.4%.

Decreasing food product and non-alcoholic beverage prices as well as transport goods and services prices are likely to have the biggest impact on deflation in August 2015.

However, their decrease is likely to be compensated by growing apparel and footwear, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, recreation and cultural services as well as restaurant and hotel prices.
