Estonia's unemployment rate grew to 4.3% in December

The number of registered jobless increased in December 2014 in Estonia and reached 27,597 people, which formed 4.3% of the working-age population, LETa/Public Broadcasting reports.
In November, 26,403 people were jobless, which formed 4.2% of the working-age population.
Joblessness was highest in Valgamaa (8.7%) and Ida-Virumaa (8.2%) and lowest in Tartumaa (3.3%) and Harjumaa (3.1%).
In 2014 on average, 29,502 people were in the unemployment registry, which is around 7,500 less than in 2013.
The average registered unemployment rate fell from 5.8% in 2013 to 4.6% in 2014.
