Euronews launches a new, totally revamped version of its website, euronews.com

Galina Molochkova, BC,, 19.07.2016.Print version
Euronews unveils its revamped website euronews.com, offering an original user experience, based on the concept 'All Views'. Through a 'responsive web design' interface, the new website meets consumer needs and habits, in information-seeking across all types of platforms, BC informs Lydie Bonvallet Head of Press and Public Relations.

An 'All Views' approach

In line with its 'All Views' philosophy, Euronews wants people to be able to forge their own opinion on current affairs, and so the site features multiple sources of news from all over the world.

Users will appreciate the unique experience and will be able to share in the Euronews vision promoting the expression of diversity in news coverage.

In the 'All Views' section of the website, users can choose a given subject and explore a variety of content (articles, statements and positions of opinion leaders, posts on social media and surveys) illustrating the different reactions in several countries. Diverging views and opinions are presented for consideration. 'All Views' empowers users and revolutionises the way people can access information.

Euronews is the only news media to offer news in 13 languages simultaneously*. On our digital platforms, each language team operates independently, choosing its own editorial approach to presenting the news. One of the aims of the new website is to provide articles in the different languages so that everyone may benefit from the multilingualism that is deeply rooted in Euronews' DNA.

A stimulating and responsive design

Designed in collaboration with the London-based firm Brand42, the new website fits the changing ways people consume the news: anywhere, anytime, on all platform types, instantaneously. With an innovative graphic design and user-friendly experience, the new version keeps pace with a highly mobile audience by loading more quickly and facilitating access to the news, in all 13 of the network's languages.*

Since the release of the beta version in May, with the new visual identity of Euronews, the technical teams have fine-tuned all of the functions and features, with help from users who participated by testing it on their computers, smartphones and tablets, prior to launch.

François Schmitt, Director of Operations, Euronews

"The digital platform has been completely revamped to offer an optimal consumption experience for our users, no matter how they wish to access our content. It reinforces the 'All Views' philosophy that is so specific to Euronews, with its wealth of diversity expressed in 13 languages and its unique way of handling the news."

Adge Gittins, Creative Director, Brand42

"Having won the opportunity to work with Euronews on their digital rebranding, we are thrilled to have reached this milestone with them. Working closely with the CEO Michael Peters, and both the editorial and product teams, it has been great to define the ground breaking 'All Views' concept, and how this is represented online. We hope to continue our close relationship with the Euronews team and carry on delivering success across the Brand."
