Estonians more active than Baltic neighbours in buying 4G tablet computers

Print versionAccording to market research company GfK Retail & Technology, during the first seven months of the year 2015 the number of 4G tablet computers per resident sold in Estonia is higher than in Latvia and Lithuania, writes LETA/Postimees Online.

Tablet computers in Estonia are cheaper and more popular than in Latvia and Lithuania.
“Estonians are well-known for their innovative nature, and propensity to use state-of-the-art technology, and statistics compiled by GfK confirms this trend,” said Andrus Hiiepuu, member of the Management Board of Elisa.
“If one were to compare average sales prices of tablet computers, in 2015 the price of a tablet was by nearly 40% cheaper than in 2012.
