Egils Levits and Arkady Suharenko Congratulate the Best Nurses

On Friday, 31 January, a solemn reception was held at Riga Castle – the residence of the President of Latvia – for the winners of the campaign “Our Search for the Best Nurse”.
This campaign has been conducted for over a decade by the Rietumu Bank’s Charity Fund, jointly with the biggest Latvian newspaper Diena. Its winners receive a monetary award from the Fund and gratitude from the President.
This year, the best nurses of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital were congratulated by the Head of State Egils Levits, the patroness of the campaign – the First Lady Andra Levite, Chairman of the Council of the Rietumu Bank’s Charity Fund Arkady Suharenko, and Chairperson of the Board of the Fund Inga Sina.
Each winner also received a monetary award in the amount of EUR 1000 from the Rietumu Bank’s Charity Fund.
This year, winners of the campaign “Our Search for the Best Nurse” are 20 nurses of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital, who received the most votes from young patients, their families and friends.
