Lithuania's avg wholesale electricity price rises 5% w-o-w

Lithuania's average wholesale electricity price rose by 5 percent last week compared with a week earlier, Litgrid said on Monday.
Electricity prices in Nord Pool's Lithuanian bidding area averaged 30.6 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) on January 13-19, the power transmission system operator said.
Year-on-year, however, the average price was down by 44%.
Average prices in Latvia and Estonia also rose by 7% to 30.6 euros per MWh. While Poland's average price increased by 10%, Sweden registered a 6% decline.
The three Baltic countries' electricity production covered 67 percent of their needs last week.
