Bertans scores 24 points in Wizards loss

Print versionIn NBA action on Wednesday, Latvian forward Davis Bertans scored 24 points, but his Washington Wizards lost to the Miami Heat 129:134.
The Latvian also pulled down one rebound, made four assists, one steal and blocked one shot.
Meanwhile, Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks, who also plays for the Wizards, did not play due to injury.
Bradley Beal was the top scorer for the Wizards with 38 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
Tyler Herro led the way for the Heat with 25 points.
In the NBA's Eastern Conference standings at the moment, the Wizards remain in 12th place with 14 wins and 29 losses.
Up next for the Wizards - a road game on Thursday at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
