VEF Riga loses to Gaziantep in FIBA Champions League

BC, Riga, 16.01.2020.

In FIBA Champions League action on Wednesday, Latvian basketball club VEF Riga lost to Turkish club Gaziantep 79:86 (25:28, 23:20, 13:17, 18:21), reported LETA.

Arturs Kurucs led VEF Riga with 18 points, Lester Medford had 12 points and Kristijan Krajina 11 points.

Sarunas Vasiliauskas was the top scorer for Gaziantep with 20 points and Drew Crawford chipped in with 18 points.

In the Group C standings at the moment, Gaziantep is in seventh place with three wins and eight losses, while VEF Riga is in last place in the group with one win and ten losses.
