The proportion of bags mishandled by Havas Europe at the Riga International Airport is only 0.2 bags per 1,000 passengers, Havas Europe informed the business portal Nozare.lv, cites LETA.

This is one of the best indicators in the industry – 45 times less than the average number of bags lost at European airports, and 34 times less than the average number of bags lost globally, the company indicates.

Havas Europe provides its services to more than 1.5 million Riga International Airport passengers a year, handling more than one million baggage units. Transit/transfer baggage accounts for about half of this number. Havas Europe provides services to various airlines at the Riga International Airport – airBaltic", Turkish airlines, Transaero, UTair, Onurair, and Corendon.

Havas Europe Operations Director Simons Zitcers explains that the average number of baggage units lost in European airports is 9 bags per 1,000 passengers, while the global ratio is 6.97 bags per 1,000 passengers. More than 300 Havas Europe employees work hard to make sure that Riga International Airport passengers receive quality service every day.

Havas currently offers its services in Turkey and a number of airports in Europe, servicing more than 200 airlines in Europe.
