Inchcape Motors Latvia losses at EUR 1.5 mln in 2013

Automobile dealer Inchcape Motors Latvia (Inchcape) concluded 2013 with losses in the amount of EUR 1,498,887, reports LETA/Nozare.lv, referring to information provided by Firmas.lv.

The company's losses increased by 52% last year. The company had concluded 2012 with EUR 982,690 in losses.

 

At the same time, Inchcape turnover increased by 9% – from EUR 15,218,928 in 2012 to EUR 16,614,636 in 2013.

 

The company's management report indicates that the increase in Inchcape turnover is thanks to higher car sales. Last year, the company sold 772 new "Ford" and 68 new "Mazda" automobiles.

 

This year, Inchcape plans to focus on selling pre-owned cars, as well as improve the corporate customer segment.

 

Inchcape Motors Latvia (previously known as Baltic Motors) was founded in 1993. The company sells "Alpina", "BMW", "Jaguar", "Land Rover", "Mazda" and "Mini" automobiles.

 

The company's share capital is EUR 14,377,704. The company fully belongs to Netherlands-registered Inchcape International Group B.V..
