Newly-elected CEO of Estonian national airline Estonian Air Jan Palmer said that the air carrier's purchase of a plane Bombardier was a wrong move, the Estonian national airline ERR said in a statement.
Currently sale of the plane is almost impossible, the head of the air carrier stated.
At present Estonian Air's fleet comprises three aircraft Bombardier CRJ900, four Embraer E170, and three Saab 340. Three more Embrarers are to come to Estonia soon. The agreement has already been signed for their delivery, Palmer said in an interview to a newspaper Postimees.
The company has recently announced
that is going to use only five planes after cutting various routes, leasing of
Saab planes is going to end in the spring next year, writes LETA.
As the head of Estonian Air noted, Embraraer E170 planes would be perfect for the company; however, since Bombardier aircraft is so difficult to sell, the company will have to sell Embraers.
