Estonian Air has not found a buyer for Bombardiers

Estonia's national carrier Estonian Air hopes to sell three planes made by Canadian plane producer Bombardier by the end of the next year latest but so far no interested parties have been found, Delfi reports.

"We have some references about potential clients but nothing concrete yet," Estonian Air communications specialist Maris Talvari told Delfi.

Talvari said that the three CRJ900 planes belong to Estonian Air and the company has the right to sell or rent them without the approval of Bombardier. The company that rents the planes must be accepted by the financier of the plane purchase, Canadian export support agency EDC, reported LETA.

The three Bombardier planes are in Estonian Air's ownership with a 12 year capital lease contract. Estonian Air received the three planes in 2011.

Estonian Air has decided to start using only the Brazilian-produced Embraer planes by the end of 2013.
