"Rigas satiksme" caught 5,653 fare-dodgers in June

5,653 fare-dodgers were busted this past June, which is 1,530 persons less than in May, when 7,183 were caught, LETA was informed by the municipal public transportation company "Rigas satiksme".

2,088 fare-dodgers were busted in trolley-buses, 1,892 in buses, and 1,673 in trams.

"Rigas satiksme" conducted 24,412 raids in June, 9,963 in buses, 9,751 in trolley-buses and 4,698 in trams.

Trolley-bus #15 was the most popular with fair-dodgers (526 fare evasions), bus #34 - the least popular one (two evasions).
