A Boeing 737 belonging to low cost carrier Norwegian with 107 people on board made an emergency landing on September 19 in Trondheim in western Norway, but no one was injured, the airline said.

An indicator in the cockpit mistakenly showed there was a problem with the front landing gear, a spokeswoman for Norwegian, Anne Grete Ellingsen, told the AFP news agency.

"The visual observations showed the opposite but the crew followed the rules and carried out an emergency landing," she said.

None of the 107 passengers or crew on board the flight from Riga were injured.

On Friday, another Boeing 737 from the Danish charter Jet Time, with 154 people on board, made an emergency landing in Copenhagen after one of the tires on the landing gear exploded on take-off. No one was injured in that incident.
