The airport's runways and platforms are as clean as they usually are in the summer, and it is also important that aviation fuel does not freeze, writes LETA.
On the other hand, due to the cold weather, some flights to Riga from other European destinations have been cancelled or delayed. For example, flights from Istanbul in previous days have been cancelled or delayed.
The airport informed that it is likely that flights from Istanbul will be delayed today as well.
