Elektriraudtee earns 2.3 mln EUR from ticket sale in 2011

Print versionOver 2.86 million trips were made in 2011 with trains of Elektriraudtee AS; the company's ticket sales amounted to 2.3 million EUR, growing by 2.9%, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

As compared to 2010, the number of trips made with the company's' trains fell by 2.3%. The cause was widespread renovation work in the Aegviidu direction.
The company said that large-scale renovations continue this year in order to get a modern railway network for the new trains that arrive in autumn.
Elektriraudtee operates electric commuter trains in Tallinn and its vicinity.
