Chairman of the supervisory board of the airline Joakim Helenius noted that the new strategy is mostly based on using the new Bombardier aircrafts and it is also possible that a helicopter route between Tallinn and Helsinki would be launched.
The strategy is planned to be revealed in late February or early march will involve two objectives: to create a solid infrastructure and to earn profits. During the years 2006-2009, Estonian Air earned a total of 350.7 million kroons or 22.4 million euros in losses.
